Spring Chicken

Happy Birthday Mayhem...my spring chicken.  The weather warmed just in time to celebrate her 3rd birthday at our neighborhood playground.  A picture perfect spring day.

One of the few boy guests....who was almost uninvited by Mayhem.  When I inquired why..."because he doesn't love me anymore."  Apparently he turned on the charm in time to attend her party.

One of her sassy guests.

Her springtime table...covered in kraft paper and decked with chicks and eggs.

A miniature cake surrounded by edible grass...which I stole from Mayhem's basket after one of the many egg hunts this year.  Don't tell.

Handing out treat bags for the piñata.

A swarm around the downed bird.

What to do with a busted piñata?

Wear it of course.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAYHEM
from the rest of your nest

I want to be 3 and wear floppy bows in my hair again.
I also want that Kayce Hughes green dress.
Great family photo.

How "chic"! :) Looks like a wonderful celebration. Love your family photo! My 7 year old was looking over my shoulder as I was reading your post a mistook Mayhem for Marlowe! Marlowe wore the same dress and hair bow for Easter. :)

thanks Patricia, that green dress will be my uniform this summer. And I think you could still pull off a bow in your hair!
