In the Garden - up against a wall

Apricot Rose

Commissioned by the renowned rose breeder David Austin,
Anna has painted a selection of roses that are
available for purchase via his website here.

Ordered a few years back from David Austin, our Madame Alfred Carriére rose is in bloom up against a wall.  A vigorous climber which will tolerate some shade....delicate blush petals open to white with a traditional rose fragrance.  A burst of blooms in the spring is followed by a few repeat blooms during the summer.

I have a 'New Dawn' climbing rose here in Atlanta. It has pale pink clusters of flowers—and re-blooms in the Fall. The scent is light and sweet.
