Can't draw? Just make beautiful collages like artist Balint Zsako (who can also draw beautifully by the way.)
Mayhem is learning to draw at preschool...making her medical illustrator Momma proud!

I guess the apple did not fall far from the tree....or the bones. I always admire good bones. That hand with the Q-tips really touched my heart.

working on some hand illustrations myself...funny timing
Wow, I have so much admiration for you and your talent! I took an art class in college and although I am no artist, it definitely gave me an appreciation for the skill involved.
Thanks Marie: if only I could still craft bones from q-tips.
The collages are fascinating. Love Mayhem's hand! Your studio looks like a lovely spot.

That skeleton is jamming! Way to go, Mayhem!!! :) What is her hand print made of? Are those Q tips?
Yes Loi, those are Q-tips...will never look at them the same again
There is simply nothing better than children's art.... I have a feeling that both of your girls are destined to have great taste in art.... and be the most knowledgeable kids about physiology on the block! :)
Thought of you immediately when I pulled Segars' hand out of his bookbag (wow, that sounds bizarre)!
Love those little artists!
Sae Sae: haaaa, wonder what they were learning that day in Miss Sue's class. Hope it was "stop putting your Q-tip in your nose."
Crissy: Mischief would insist that she already is an artist. Something she tells with annoyance to folks when they ask "are you going to be an artist when you grow up?"
