Opportunity for ideas

One of my favorite opportunity for ideas...Martha Stewart Living.  So when I needed some inspiration for Thanksgiving this year I turned to my collection of November issues.  Some dating back to ye ole 1996...prior to the days of Pinterest.

Flipping through an issue from 2007...

...I was inspired by Midas touches.

What are your favorite resources for inspiration?

I used to love her magazine. I haven't picked it up in a while. Think I will have to revisit it.
All best,

I was a fan before the jail time and interviewing of celebrities (snore.) Much prefer the old school Martha....before she was worried if people like her ha

Crissy, any new mags over there worth mentioning? Do you subscribe to RS and TH...or are they easily available there?

Will you be celebrating Thanksgiving as usual this coming.

I've got a big stack of Martha Stewart Livings, too. Always a great source for inspiration as are her books. The old Victoria magazine is another one that I saved and still go to when I'm in need of a little spark. Same with old Domino. But what I find to be the best source of inspiration - the flowers at the corner market. Sometimes a single bloom can inspire an entire table setting. Some incredible orange parrot tulips did that for me yesterday, the the table came together around them and they were the stars of the evening. Happy Thanksgiving planning! XO

hope you will post images of your parrot tulips! Or paint some? Sadly limited in small town, no flower market...whine whine. Which is why most of my arrangements come from the yard ha.

I too have my old domino magazines, love the quotes on the binding. And my old Southern Accents, still depressed about losing that one
