Charles M. Schulz
Animation Production Cel
Scene from It's the Great Pumpkin
which first aired October 27, 1966
Presbyterians and Pumpkins...equals a great time. The weather was fair...and the boys and girls came out for our church pumpkin carving. Keeping the kids in the fold.
I've been haulin' pumpkins, straw, and goodies the past few weeks preparing for our church pumpkin carving party.
Pumpkins of all sizes, ready for decorating.
Fall infused popcorn
And suckers which disappeared quickly as ghosts
We had creative amateurs...
...and well-equipped professionals.
Our carvers at work
While pumpkins were turned into jack-o-lanterns, children decorated treat bags
Some of those were professional as well. This one authored by my nephew Charlie...remember this post?
Fun and fellowship
Treat bags decorated...it was time to scavenge the pumpkin patch. Crafted of wheat straw and kudzu I pulled from the neighborhood woods.
Mischief helped me hide candy and goodies in our make believe patch
Ready, set, go...
Until next year
