If you read my last post...I mentioned I would be participating in a collaborative art piece this weekend.  By chance, I stumbled upon this video...Drawing Day, a short film documenting a collaborative drawing done over the course of eight hours.  By Three Classicists...drawings and work by Ben Pentreath, George Saumarez Smith and Francis Terry.  Insanely talented.

Found via Ben Pentreath...British designer, architect and shop owner.  And subject of a conversation with a fellow artist/blogger just today.  His blog, appropriately named Inspiration often features his home and garden...inspiring indeed.  This video, inspiration for my weekend project.

I can see why you're inspired.

Egos forgotten or put aside, each could be described as "plays well with others". Their art is not work to them.

Amazing, truly amazing. thank you for sharing this.

And have fun this weekend! I'll be entering a five-mile walk and rain is predicted. ;-) Oh well, I've had wet tennis shoes before.

you are committed Gail! I may need to be committed after this weekend...the party is prom-themed. Think I'll go as a boring chaperon

I think you should go as a prom queen, complete with tiara and pretty dress.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when Mischief and Mayhem see you leaving for the prom. Like most little girls they are no doubt enchanted with "fairy princesses".

Have fun. That's the main thing. Just enjoy.

Have a fabulous time at Roosterfest! Sounds like so much fun. (I'd love to see the final results of your efforts.) Art can be such a solitary pursuit, so I love the idea of a collaborative project. Would love to have the opportunity to participate in one.
Let us know how it goes! XO

Thanks for sharing the photos of Ben Pentreath's Dorset house - very interesting. I have been to his shop in London, he clearly has a good eye. Any chance we will see a photo of the results of your own recent collaboration? Would love to!
All best,

All best,
