Friend of Fairies
by Australian children's book illustrator
(1888-1960)
I sent a little girl to school this morning...who returned as a fairy
She had a little accident at school and had to make a costume change

her dress returned via ziplock bag |
Guessing her teacher didn't see the change of clothes in her bag. Using what she had available in the classroom, she transformed my bundle of Mayhem into a spritely fairy
If you ever come across a fairy...
DO NOT laugh, they think you don't believe
Sorry Peter Pan...we've lost another one

This gave me the best chuckle this morning. This happened to Ashtyn when she was little and she still remembers the dress she was wearing!..... some 9 years ago! Obviously, her teacher did not have fairy costumes available. :)
I believe in fairies Mayhem, and I would NEVER laugh at one.
I do laugh at your Momma though - she is very funny.
Loved today's post and yesterday's,
xo

still feel guilty for laughing, but she was so cute...fairies are very sensitive, geez
Jennifer, this is the best! I love it (and your true Mama stories) so much! One day this little fairy of yours will love this story too!
Jennifer, I almost choked on my coffee trying to suppress a delighted giggle - but I promise I wasn't laughing at this sweet fairy. She's just so precious one can't help but smile. I'm glad I'm not the only one who believes...
XOXO
I remember having to collect my son who was napping and stuck to his mat at kindergarten.

haaaa, oh no. Hilarious. At least he had a mat....my Mother sent me to kindergarten with a small pink shag rug. I'm still embarrassed
