"What do you want to do for your birthday...
do you want a princess party?"
-Me
"No, I want a plain party"
-Mischief
What is a plain party? Mischief requests that it be girls only ("boys play too rough"), be held at her house and that we serve cake and ice cream. Great, an easy task. But plain...hmm?
This is all I have so far
A cake topper I'm working on for her "Bi-Lo cake" (another very specific Mischief request.) At least she doesn't have very high expectations.

Mother Nature's zinnias have some stiff competition...from Mother and former Disney animator turned cookie artist Krista Heij Barber. Amazing

Oh my goodness gracious...... I'm laughing out loud at how we are so much alike..... first of all..... take note of the word "plain"...... then take a look at all of your photos. :) Look plain to you?! Maybe it should be a "plain & fancy" party :) It will be gorgeous! My husband always rolls his eyes at this behavior and I just say it's in my genes!
haaaa Crissy, plain and fancy!
Our husbands similar too apparently ha. He can handle "fancy" as long as it comes "cheap"
