Preparing to attend the annual Spring Beauty Garden Club chapeau luncheon this week. And for the best dressed hat...
A design I'm working on (at the last minute) for this year's recipient. Thrilled to have found this copyright-free image (via here) as our symbols are the bird and the butterfly. Image manipulated with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Hoping to pluck some blooms from the yard to dress my hat. In my dreams, I would have a hat made by milliner Leigh Magar of Charleston, South Carolina based Magar Hatworks

There is little lovelier than a lady wearing a beautiful hat, or perhaps chapeau, which sounds better, I think. Thanks for the images, RD
I love your design..... and all those hats. Sounds like a wonderful event; can't wait to hear all about it.
Now I know where Mischief gets it, and she doesn't miss much. Can only imagine her excitement when she sees mom preparing for her garden club meeting made complete this time with a beautiful hat.
Jennifer,
This is just the inspiration I needed as I am creating a birthday crown for a dear friend and we are going out to celebrate her special day this friday!
I found the most perfect gift to accompany. She is a master gardener so I plan to water color some lovely blossoms on her crown~

Love all the beautiful hats, but your daughter's "gloves" are the best!
