Willem de Kooning-Pink Angels c. 1945

Yellow, pink with a touch of green...the color palette of De Kooning's Pink Angels inspired the decorations for
Mayhem's 2nd Birthday Celebration

Our viburnum bloomed just in time

It was almost perfect...

...but she always brings a little mayhem.  While blowing out her candles, she singed a sizable clump of hair

Thankfully, the smell of burnt hair permeating throughout the house didn't stop her guests from enjoying their cake

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANN PARKER
my little bundle of mayhem

Oh no - her hair! Maybe Mischief can give it a trim? The decor was perfect - LOVE everything!

You are always good for a chuckle...... poor baby!.... I just want to eat her up! Thank goodness she didn't get her face. Your home looked simply wonderful and I'd say that combined with a story to tell pretty much makes it perfect.

I adore her simple, beautiful cake. It's how I prefer them, too! It offsets the "mayhem" perfectly! xo
