To the highest bidder

"Children, like animals, use all of their senses to discover the world.  Then artists come along and discover it the same way all over again."
-Eudora Welty

As important as feeding your child wholesome food (um, I try)...so too is nourishing their creativity. Mischief's preschool is hosting an auction next week so we put together an Art Party basket...everything you need to exercise their imagination.  And some cupcakes too

Love it. Do you have a program or website you use to create the borders and fonts? MK

MK: I just use Adobe Illustrator. Fonts are Rosewood and Bell MT...two standard fonts. If you ever want a sign made, let me know and I'll make/send it to you

Love the quote from Eudora Welty whose birthday it is today, born in Jackson, Mississippi in 1909.

Coincidentally, I'm picking up a rubber stamp today from a local crafts store. I saw this quote somewhere--ART HELPS ME BREATHE--and placed a special order for a custom-made stamp. It's for a friend who is down in the dumps and hasn't touched her incredible art work for far too long.

As an artist, you must have had a ball creating and filling that wonderful basket. Your days seem to be spent making memories for your little girls. Lovely.

Gail: I had no idea it was her birthday, serendipity!

Ah, indeed....it does help me breathe, what a thoughtful gift for your friend.
