In The Studio-Funny Bones

"It is not true that woman was made from man's rib;
she was really made from his funny bone"
-James Matthew Barrie (novelist and creator of Peter Pan)

In the studio this week...sketching part of a series on total shoulder arthroplasty

Anatomical character studies by artist Michael Paulus who imagines/illustrates the skeletal systems of popular animated characters as if they "truly had eye sockets half the size of its head, or fingerless-hands, or feet comprising 60% of its body mass."
(quoted from his website)

I love the way you humor us inside and out.
My table was like that of a "car purchase" - I test drove so many until I found something that felt just right.
I am on the hunt for a self healing mat to cover the entire surface for classes.....sort of like one of the fancy car covers. I could have gone, rustic, but I went for the sleek and sporty.
Thanks as always for your comments.
Love your space....that Michael Paulus - wow.
