Taking after her mother! How exciting to see your daughter creating art...

Denise: when asked "are you going to be an artist one day?" she responded with "I'm an artist right now"

That's one of the joys of raising kids, isn't it? You never know. A first camera? A first crayon? A first seedling? Any one can be the spark that ignites.

P.S. I bought some Dig beer yesterday. Thanks to your blog, I looked for it. This six-pack is going to a friend- a gardener who no doubt could use an ice cold beer when he arrives back home from visiting his ailing 86 year old mother.

Gail: how wonderful, I hope your friend enjoys the Dig!

How charming that she is showing her talents at a young age and proudly looking to her Daddy for acknowledgement. Sweet. Just like the daffodils asking for our attention.
