Abstract

(via here)

That's my day job, accuracy.  But lately I find myself drawn towards the abstract.  Drawn to the sensation of a brush on canvas rather than the vocation of accurate representation.

Daughters of the South and darlings of designers, the artists below make me want to grab a brush and have some fun.  While carefree and loose, they all paint with purpose and with expert control of their medium.

HI Jennifer! Thank you for your fun post! What great company too? I love that I'm holding a Pabst Blue Ribbon in my picture!

I cannot wait to move into my new studio where I will paint freely - full of heart and whimsy.
I adore the art work of Amanda and Michelle.
