As diverse as the art above, so are the individuals diagnosed with breast cancer.  Recently diagnosed, Kerri Pennington is one of those individuals.  She is one member of a remarkable family of four.  A mother of two, a long-time blogger, and wife to a multi-tasking husband...who among other things is a caregiver, an entrepreneur, and a public servant

Our community, and many beyond, have been thinking pink for a few years now...in honor of Kerri's youngest daughter, Mary Clare, who was born with a congenital heart defect requiring multiple surgeries over several years.  In support of Mary Clare, a huge Pinkalicious fan, Hartsville embraced all things pink.

She is a survivor and no doubt her Mother will be too.
