Little Artist

"Every child is an artist.  The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up"

-Pablo Picasso (1881-1973)

1st day of school

Caroline entered 3K this year.  She is a creative little girl and this summer we celebrated her 3rd birthday.  Her only request...that we color and eat cookies.  So we hosted an art party!

Invitations ordered through Sarah and Abraham...great design options, super easy and fast delivery.  Held at our local arts center, Black Creek Arts Council, a wonderful organization and facility.

Caroline painted the tablecloth herself!
Ann Parker entertaining the guests

Her guests loved the play dough

Caroline looks so different to me - so grown...still beautiful. You are making me look bad with this shin-dig - easel cookies, really? Stinking adorable. I am not telling a lie when I say that this Saturday, for Abrey's birthday, we will be in Savannah for a wedding and I have made her believe that the wedding reception will be her birthday party with a live prince and princess and a huge cake. Now I just need to figure out how to get the #3 birthday candle on top of the wedding cake when for the picture.

Hilarious! Abrey is gonna have the best party ever...a real prince and princess. I'm sure the bride won't mind a #3 Harris Teeter candle on the cake. If you can pull that off I want to see a picture!
